Advanced Physical Health is a family practice founded by husband-and-wife team, Dr. Sylvie Carpetier and Dr. Matthew White. In 2015, the practice grew to include their daughter, Dr. Monique White, and in 2025, longtime family friend Dr. Nicholas Hagan joined the team. With over 95 years of combined experience, we are proud to be the most experienced clinic in Mid-Missouri!

Our practice is truly a family clinic, dedicated to serving patients of all ages and backgrounds. We care for a wide range of patient populations, including pregnant individuals, children, athletes, and seniors. Each of our doctors have advanced training to address the unique needs of these groups. Our mission is to provide a thorough diagnosis, educate and empower you about your health, and tailor our care to meet your individual needs. We want our patients to feel confident they are addressing the root cause of an issue, while also feeling empowered to take an active role in their healing process.

  • Monique White, DC, MS, ICCSP, Perinatal Certified, Webster Certified

    Dr. Monique is a second generation, board certified Chiropractic Physician practicing in Columbia, MO.  She graduated from Logan University, College of Chiropractic as Valedictorian and Summa Cum Laude. She is a Perinatal and Webster certified Chiropractor. She is known for her gentle techniques. Read more

  • Matthew White, D.C.

    Dr. White is a Graduate of the University of Windsor, Windsor Ontario with a Bachelor of Human Kinetics in 1981 and also received his Doctor of Chiropractic at Logan College in 1985. He met his wife, Dr. Carpentier, as a student at Logan.  They opened up their practice together in Columbia over 35 years ago! Read more

  • Sylvie Carpentier, D.C.

    Dr. Carpentier is originally from Quebec, Canada where she received her Bachelors in Health Science at the University of Quebec Trois-Rivieres and later received her Doctor of Chiropractic at Logan College of Chiropractic, St. Louis, Missouri in 1985. She has served the Columbia community for nearly four decades as a chiropractor and founded an organization for our local Children's Hospital as well. Read more
